MEET OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM

Elders

Journey is led by an elder council, consisting of our lead pastor, staff and spiritual leaders who share equal authority and responsibility for the leadership of the church, making the general ministry and operational decisions.

Mike Pudlo  |  Lead Pastor

Pastor Mike is a huge dreamer, progressive thinker, technology geek and lover of coffee. He’s passionate about unpacking the truths of Scripture with genuine application and leading people into a vibrant, life giving understanding of God’s Word.

Sometimes he can be caught praying for the Patriots during service, but God uses people like that. (We still don’t even know if it actually affects the outcome of the game or not.)

Mike studied pastoral ministries and theology at Zion Bible College and Liberty University. He started serving in ministry in as an intern during Bible college in 2000, then a student ministries pastor and associate pastor. Now he is the founding and lead pastor at Journey.

Sarah studied education and music at UMASS Dartmouth and special education at Bridgewater State University.

Mike and Sarah have three energetic little people in their life, Sam, Ben and Sadie.

Raul DeMelo

Raul DeMelo

As one of the most genuine and loving people you will ever meet, Raul is undeniably after the heart of the Father.

Raul brings wisdom and experience to the leadership table… and lots of it! He has over 30 years of experience in church and business leadership and general contracting.

He and his wife Lorraine have two married daughters. They spend most of their time loving on and spoiling their 6 grandchildren …those lucky kids

Christian Molina

Christian Molina

Homeless as a teen, Christian found a God honoring foster home that led him to Christ. Now passionate for the Gospel and the Church, Christian leads in a number of areas at Journey (high school and junior high groups and overseeing our hospitality team).

He studied Biblical counseling and theology at Liberty University and loves opportunity to teach others about the God he has come to know and love.

His wife Sarah is part of our worship team and small group leadership.

Myles Mueler

Myles Mueler

Husband to Anne, father to his biological and foster kids, and a military man.

Myles is the Chair of the Business Council, passionate about ministry to the foster care community, part of our men’s ministry team, and a man who is always ready to learn and teach about the ways of God.

Anne is part of our kids team and together they have led small groups and get involved however they can.

Derek Silvia

Derek Silvia

A man who clearly loves discipleship, Derek is often found with other men from Journey at the range, kayaking, fishing or shooting pool.

He is always ready to visit with the sick or hurting, help meet physical needs, or to just take a moment to pray over someone struggling with something, no matter how small the issue. Derek’s faith is big and encouraging.

His wife, Lori, is Journey’s administrator and together they have two daughters.

Business Council

Our elders are supported by our business council in financial and business decisions. This team is made up of individuals who have experience in and understand different facets of business.

Wayne Magee

Originally hailing from Ohio, Wayne is part of the leadership team at the Mass Maritime Academy on the Cape. There, he is the Assistant Director Comcad and Director of Bands, Honor Guard & Drill Team.

A man who wears many hats well, and who puts his all into everything entrusted to him, is valuable in any organization.

Though he doesn’t care too much for sports, his palpable and contagious passion for Jesus are a much better trade-off! His knowledge of business policy and structure make him invaluable.

Brian Pudlo

Having experience in business and non-profit insurance since 2004, Brian understands what keeps a business safe.

He serves in many areas at Journey, including keeping tabs on his brother, Pastor Mike. Brian’s dedication to his faith, family and church help him to play an important and unique role in the church.

Brian also serves as a volunteer case reviewer for DCF, on the Advisory Board for the Salvation Army of Fall River and is part of the leadership team for Bags of Hope New England.

Joel Correia

A hard working family man who is also a firefighter with the City of Fall River and local contractor. He is the epitome of hard working and brings that passion and work ethic into his faith and service to the church. Joel’s knowledge of building code, construction and safety make him an essential to our team.

He and his wife, Genesis, also serve in various facets including worship and kid’s programs and our new Kids Sports Academy – a sports based small group for kids ages 6-10.

Ministry Team

This amazing group of people is just a fraction of those committed to see Journey thrive in so many ways for our church family and community.

Sarah Pudlo

Sarah Pudlo

Pastor's better half

What doesn’t she do?
She has literally done everything you can imagine at Journey, her biggest passion is discipleship and coffee shop conversations. She is primary leadership for both our worship and kids ministries and tries to keep Pastor Mike in check.

Lori Silvia

Lori Silvia

Administrator

What started as a volunteer role out of her passion for Journey has become a part-time role providing support for our ministry teams. #1 on her daily task list… help Sarah keep Pastor Mike focused. It’s not easy.

Lori also spearheads our care ministries, arranging visits and meals for the hospitalized, sick and grieving; responding to needs requests and partnering with local organizations to meet them.

Pastoral Council

The leadership of Journey does not stand alone in their responsibility to lead our community of believers to accomplish our role as part of the Church worldwide. We have a team of local pastors who also stand with us for guidance and accountability. They are pastors of churches who love our pastor and church, who pray for us, and who partner with us in accomplishing the work the Church has been called to.
